1. Agreement
By creating an account or using SEO Regression Monitor, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Acceptable Use Policy. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you may accept these terms for that organization.
2. The service
The service records selected technical observations from public web pages and compares later observations with earlier snapshots. It reports observed changes and possible SEO impact. It does not edit customer websites, provide legal advice, guarantee search rankings or represent that it knows Google’s current index state.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. Accounts may not be shared in a way that bypasses plan limits.
4. Authorization to monitor
You may monitor only websites you own or are authorized to monitor. You authorize the service to make limited automated requests to the public URLs you submit. Persistent or scheduled monitoring may require domain verification. You remain responsible for complying with contracts, website policies and applicable law.
5. Beta service and availability
Beta features may change, be limited or be discontinued. We aim to operate the service reliably, but monitoring intervals, scan completion and notifications are not guaranteed. You should maintain your own deployment checks and backups for business-critical systems.
6. Fees
The current beta does not request a payment method. If paid plans are introduced, prices, limits, renewal terms and applicable taxes will be shown before you subscribe. We will not activate a paid subscription without your affirmative purchase.
7. Your data
You retain rights in the project information and URLs you submit. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process and transmit that data to provide, secure and improve the service. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Restrictions
You must not misuse the crawler, interfere with the service, evade limits, probe private networks, monitor targets without authorization or use results to facilitate unlawful activity. Additional restrictions appear in the Acceptable Use Policy.
9. Intellectual property
The service, software, interface and documentation are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is active. They do not transfer ownership of the service.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably needed to address security, abuse, legal risk, non-payment after paid plans launch, or a material breach of these Terms. We will provide notice when practical.
11. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Findings require human review; you are responsible for decisions made using them.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits, traffic, rankings, revenue, data or goodwill. For a free beta account, our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so they may not apply to you.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms as the service develops. Material changes will take effect after reasonable notice when required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
